About M.E.L. Supported Living

M.E.L. Supported Living offers a supportive, stable, nurturing and stimulating environment that helps young people to develop their potential in a secure setting. Our aim is to support our young people to achieve their full potential and enable them to live independently in the community.

Our services are tailored to the young person's needs and we can help them move towards independent living.

Our team of experienced and professional staff are here to help you. They have worked with young people for many years and understand their needs.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

  • With our Supported Living services, we help people live independently in the community.

  • The programme offers a range of social, educational and employment opportunities to help young people make positive choices about their future.

  • We're all about supporting young people to be their best selves.

  • We are here to help young people not only live well but also feel they belong.

  • Our supported living services are flexible and responsive to the needs of every young person.

  • We support young people in the process of developing a personal plan to achieve their goals, which could include going to college, moving out of home etc.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

MEL Supported Living believes that each young person needs to be helped to achieve as much independence as possible. We work alongside them and their family to find the best way.

Our values are at the heart of everything we do and all staff have a role to play in supporting young people, their families and communities. We believe that everyone has the right to be themselves and to have the support they need to reach their full potential.
